What we don’t do

  • No advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics.
  • Visits are counted as a daily total per page. Nothing in that count identifies you: no cookie, no IP address, no device details.
  • We don’t sell or share your email address for anyone else’s marketing.
  • Emails from us contain no tracking pixels.

Players from other companies

Spotify, YouTube and TikTok players on this site only load when you click to load or play them. Once loaded, those companies may set their own cookies and collect data under their own privacy policies. Until you click, nothing is requested from them.

Who processes data for us

The website and its database run on servers we control. Emails are sent through an email delivery service acting on our instructions. Neither uses your data for its own purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how it’s used, or withdraw consent at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link and a link to change your preferences, and from that page you can download or delete everything we hold about your subscription. For anything else, get in touch. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

If this notice changes in a way that matters, subscribers will be told by email.
